I have experience as a dishwasher in Antarctica, an assistant film editor in China, and a museum technician in Seattle.
I received a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Kalamazoo College and a M.Ed. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Seattle University. While in Seattle I taught with the ESL program at Highline Community College. More recently, I lived in Qingdao, China preparing university and high school students to study in English speaking countries.
I currently work with international teaching assistants at Cornell University.
